Ember is a lovely little spitfire,her auntie Charm done in red. She is owned and loved by Patti Young of Chrima Aussies and is competing in stock, agility, obedience and conformation. She was BOSp her first two times out ASCA and has consistently won her puppy classes AKC,with a RWB at the July Independence cluster her first time out as an adult. In her obedience debut this Spring, Ember picked up her RN title on her first 3 outings! Way to go Patti & Ember. Ember also just recieved her first AHBA HCT leg on sheep,at her first AHBA test. Ember has a 5 & 4 point major in ASCA already- we think she is going to finish in style!
NEWS FLASH! On August 6th, Ember was WB/BOW/BOB over ranked Specials for a 5 point major at the Willoughby Stock Dog Club ASCA show under Senior Breeder Judge Sharon Rowe!!
Ember and Patti pass the certification test!They are now Delta Society Pet Partners and have started their READ therapy dog visits. They are working in the local library,helping children develop their reading and social skills.
Ember and Patti ventured to ASCA's 50th Anniversary Nationals this year and came back with a 4th place in Open Red! Not bad,especially considering they had to run from the agility ring to the conformation ring without time for touch ups! Congratulations girls!
In October, Patti and Ember branched out and tried UKC conformation. Ember came home with the points, going WB/BOB and Group 4 from the first show and WB/BOB and Group 2 from the second show.Ember finished her UKC title Feb 10,2008 with additional Group placements!
Ember just passed both legs of her herding test on her first two tries and received her HT on sheep over Memorial Day weekend!
